Ingredients
- 2
packs fresh asparagus
- 200 g
unsalted butter, cubed
- 4 tbsp.
Sriracha
- 3
cloves garlic, crushed
Chives, chopped
Lemon wedges, to serve
Directions
- Step 1Preheat BBQ or griddle pan to high. Using your hands, prep asparagus by snapping off the woody ends.
- Step 2Grill asparagus until char marks form, 5-8 minutes.
- Step 3Meanwhile, make four foil parcels. Add the grilled asparagus, butter and garlic. Squeeze over 1 tbsp Sriracha per parcel, or more if you like it hot! Seal the parcels by bringing the edges together and scrunching or folding them closed. Return parcels to the griddle pan or BBQ for 10mins, or until you can hear the butter sizzling.
- Step 4Remove parcels from the grill. Open the parcels using your hands or scissors, careful to avoid escaping steam. Serve in the foil, topped with chives and lemon wedges.
